A cancer dad, a small
business owner, a neighbor

James decided to run after returning from St. Jude and fighting to bring a St. Jude partnership to South Carolina. As a small business owner, he saw firsthand the impact overburdensome regulations were having on small businesses — and he watched explosive growth chip away at the quality of life here in the Lowcountry.
